Warehouse Sorting Questions
Can the sorter split parcels by carrier?
Yes. Chutes are mapped in software by carrier, by service level, by USPS delivery unit or ZIP, or a mix, and the plan can change between shifts.
What labels can it read?
The optical system reads barcodes and printed label text on up to five sides of each parcel.
How fast is it?
Each tier or line is rated at up to 3,600 parcels per hour; vertical systems stack up to six tiers for 21,600 per hour. Actual throughput depends on parcel mix, label quality and staffing.
Does it connect to our WMS or carrier systems?
The sorter assigns chutes from the label and your sort plan. Tell us what systems you use and we'll confirm what the site design needs.
Can we buy it rather than pay per parcel?
Yes. Warehouses can buy a system, quoted per configuration, or use pay-per-parcel pricing from $0.10 with no equipment purchase.
